Ready for Kingston!

My journey at Kingston University will be one to remember! I can't wait to make a bucket list of different things to do, experience, and places to travel to while abroad. Of course I also can't wait to make new friends, not only from Kingston but also from CMU.

Since I was little I have been fascinated with the thought of being a princess. Of course I watched all of the Disney fairy tales, dreaming someday I'd find my prince charming and get to live in a castle. When I found out that princesses were real I became even more interested and quickly found out about the royalty in England. Everything from the Queen, learning about Princess Diana and her sons, and watching the Royal Wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William was intriguing me.

I also love the fashion in London. It's much different than wearing sweatpants and t-shirts everyday like college kids do here. Who doesn't love to get dressed up every once in a while? My career goal is to work for a fashion magazine, so there is no better way I'd want to learn about Journalism than in a town full of fashion.

Saying goodbye to my family and friends will be hard but thinking of all the possibilities I have ahead of me make this all worth it. I know I will miss them, but thankfully they are only a postcard, phone call, or skype call away!

If I could, I would pack up my bag now and go. I cannot wait for this experience! My main concern right now: how am I going to fit everything into one suitcase??
