In exactly one month I will be boarding a plane heading across the pond. It still has not sunk in that I will be in London for a full semester. I have been thinking of everything I still need to do before I leave... talk about stress!
A small pile of things to bring with me has began to form in my room; right now it consists of rain boots, a few pictures, and my battery charger for my camera. I have many lists forming, as well. Once the holidays are over I will have to do some "practice packing" to figure out how to pack everything I want to bring.
My mom gave me a travel book for London a few days ago, so I have been looking through that trying to learn everything I can about the culture. The more I read it, though, the more excited I get.
When I tell people when I am leaving they always say how soon it is. In my head it still feels so far away. I hope the time leading up to the day I leave goes fast, but I will be spending as much time as I can with my friends and family before that day comes.
